Seminar Reflection

Today's seminar was far better as compered to the first seminar . perhaps is the second attempt and enough preparation was being made by the students or is the directions given by the lecture on how to carry out the seminar for instance how to interrupt if one person is talking and loosing focus on the topic. To my opinion, l was able to augured based on the research evidence
and my position (for) . At one point in time l stood up as a neutral person in order to express the other side of my views.
The seminar was an opportunity to share our ideas, listening to others,respecting people,s concern as a group.To the best of my knowledge i think l participated very well using the right language unlike the previous one. in fact everyone in the group participated enough based on individual preparation.

After practicing exercise1 and 2 on topic sentence, i noticed that mine performance was just above average level but the understanding was gradually improving.

Listening And speaking Practice
On Saturday , British couples with their two children happened to visit my Anti in the morning.I know they very good friends of my Anti and any time they visit my Anti I do enjoy their conversation.
Around the 11am the lady said to my Anti that they have planned to visit Spitafield market and my Anti and I decided to joined them.Anyway it was an opportunity for to mingle myself in native speakers and l was really enjoyed the conversation in the car. Actually It was great experienced because these people have very good pronunciation and is very good to understand by anybody.
when we arrived in the market,l could here different kinds of accent and it seemed to me most of the people are foreigner but all the same I tried to pay attention to listened to them.
To my opinion I will say it quite straight forward to hear clearly from native speakers especially how they construct their sentences using vocabulary and how pronounce the words.

Some of the vocaballey that came across our conversation were
:1.Jaywalking meaning crossing the road in dangerous or careless manner. 2.Neuralgia meaning server pain in the along the nerve.3.religuary meaning quarise. a container for relics of saints.
Sensationalism meaning,The deliberate use of sensational language or subject mater arouse feeling of shock anger or excitement.
