Television Programmes in Ghana

Ghana has Four Television Channels which consist of GTV, TV3, Metro TV and TV Africa .These Channels could be watched anywhere in the world through the innovative channel programmes.
Ghana Television has alternates between the four major television stations to deliver to the public the best of Ghana television including other educative programme like every day English .
For example. If you are a soccer fan you can watch the Premier League matches and other major matches as they are being played in Ghana.
You can watch news-bulletins bringing the Nation's news and giving insight into Ghana's development as they are being broadcasted in Ghana.
However,the Television programme side effect which cases a lot of harm to the society most especially the youngsters,and their social lives,providing fuel for conversation and peer group cohesiveness.
I am not surprise of what is going on at the moment because all the four channel are on competition trying to capture the market .In order to exploit the youth, they always try to introduce new programmes with regardless of the consequence of the film.
For the government to eradicate these problems, i think it would be appropriate for Ghanaian government to impose stricter censorship of the press or directors of the film production to limit uneducated programmes. Even though it serve as entertainment and again provide valuable source of information to the public but some information are not fact.
